Why does the U.S. government continue to give money away during economic collapse?
Why is it that as the government continues to find ways to help our economy, that we continue to send money to aid other countries in need? I don’t doubt the validity of monetary need in these other places, but wouldn’t we be a better help to the world if we got our issues taken care of first?
First our corporations send the jobs to these countries to save money here, then the government sends money to aid these same countries. If we are going to play a part in the world as we once did, wouldn’t we we be in a better position to help if we help ourselves first?
Can’t answer that one. I think we need to reign in everything we’re doing with foreign nations. Bases, monetary aid, occupation, etc. Keep as much of our money and troops here as possible and rebuild.

US government is buying something. I don’t believe they are stupid. To find out what they buying just stop give money to those country. I wonder why some countries don’t listen to Canadian government?

The government still maintains that you can spend your way out of an economic crisis. It didn’t work in the Great Depression, in fact it turned it in to the GREAT depression, and it won’t work now
